British Columbia And Manitoba Invited PNP Applicants
British Columbia and Manitoba invited PNP applicants. It is vital to note that the Provincial Nominee Program uses different scoring systems to rank applicants’ eligibility for immigration.
British Columbia
On November 20, the BC PNP held a category-based draw through the Skilled Worker and International Graduate stream, including the Express Entry BC (EEBC) option.
No fewer than 16 invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued, with cutoff scores depending on the industries and professions targeted:
Draw Type | Minimum Score | Number Of Invitation |
Childcare | 102 | 3 |
Construction | 107 | 4 |
Healthcare | 116 | 4 |
Tech | 141 | 4 |
Veterinary Care | 80 | <5 |
In addition, applicants can apply to the BC PNP directly under the base PNP or link their PNP application to their Express Entry profile using the Express Entry BC (EEBC) option.
Also, the EEBC stream enables eligible applicants to benefit from faster processing of their British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program application and, if nominated, their permanent residence application.
Manitoba
The MPNP held three draws for immigration applicants on November 8, inviting a total of 274 applicants.
Moreover, the first draw was for skilled workers in Manitoba under occupation-specific selection.
In addition, the occupation considered in the draw was National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 unit group 60030 – restaurant and food service managers.
Furthermore, there were 41 Letters of Advice to apply issued, with the lowest cutoff score being 672.
Also, the second draw was held under the International Education Stream, with 188 Letters of Advice issued.
For the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, the MPNP issued 45 Letters of Advice to Apply to applicants.
Applicants required a score of at least 703 to be invited.
About PNP Programs
British Columbia and Manitoba invited PNP applicants.
Well, PNPs are economic immigration programs that pick individuals based on their skills and experience to fill in-demand positions within provincial labor markets.
PNP was launched in 1998 to spread the benefits of immigration across Canada. It allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada.
Today, there are over 90 provincial immigration streams. It provides foreign nationals with pathways and opportunities that best suit their skills and needs.
