British Columbia and Manitoba’s Recent PNP Invitation Results
Recently, two Canadian provinces issued provincial nominations to potential candidates. The nominating provinces include British Columbia and Manitoba. They considered candidates interested in qualifying for Canada’s permanent resident status. Each PNP participating province in Canada has different invitation streams and scoring criteria for assessing immigrants to their province. Thus, scores can vary greatly and are non-comparable from province to province. Notably, in these draws, invitations were issued to candidates from family reunification and skills immigration streams. Find British Columbia and Manitoba’s Recent PNP Invitation Results.
British Columbia and Manitoba’s Recent PNP Invitation Results ( 11-24 May)
Following is the breakdown of recent PNP invitation results in British Columbia and Manitoba.
British Columbia
Regional immigration occurs in British Columbia through its provincial program, the British Columbia PNP (BCPNP). Recently, the province held two separate draws on May 14 and 22.
On May 14, British Columbia invited 37 candidates in a general draw.
The draw considered all the skilled worker streams in the program, including:
- Skilled Worker stream,
- Skilled Worker Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) option stream,
- International Graduate stream,
- International Graduate EEBC option stream and
- Express Entry & Semi-Skilled stream.
Candidates required a minimum score of 131 to be eligible for invitation in all streams except the Express Entry and Semi-Skilled streams. For these two streams, the minimum required score was 107.
The EEBC option implies that it is aligned with Canada’s federal Express Entry managed programs.
On the 14, within the same draw, British Columbia conducted targeted draws for candidates skilled in in-demand occupations in BC.
Under this draw, BC targeted the Skilled Worker & International Graduate streams, including the EEBC option. The province issued 36 invitations to potential candidates.
The cut-off scores for each targeted profession were as follows:
- 90 for childcare professions;
- 93 for construction professions;
- 100 for healthcare professions; and
- 80 for veterinary care professions.
British Columbia’s other draw took place on May 22.
It also targeted in-demand positions under the Skilled Worker & International Graduate streams (including the EEBC option).

Manitoba
The province of Manitoba held its provincial draw, the Manitoba PNP (MPNP), on May 23, targeting three programs.

In addition, candidates must reside in Manitoba for a minimum of one year to be eligible for this draw.
Manitoba also held a draw for International Education Stream on the same day and invited 93 candidates.
Finally, 39 candidates also received invitations in another draw for the Skilled Worker Overseas stream.
To be eligible, candidates must have profiles indicating that they received an invitation under an MPNP’s strategic recruitment initiative. The cut-off score for this draw was 688.
Notably, out of a total of 253 candidates, 29 candidates had a job seeker validation code and a valid Express Entry profile
