This week, British Columbia & Manitoba held draws & Alberta shared updates regarding its immigration process. 

In separate draws, the two provinces, Manitoba and British Columbia, invited applicants based on their professional experience, education, and inclusion in special strategic recruitment initiatives. 

Provincial Immigration Results: September 27 To October 4

This week, British Columbia & Manitoba held draws & Alberta shared updates. So, here are the results of the draws. 

1. British Columbia 

On October 2, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program held two draws for immigration applicants to the province. These were general draw and a draw on in-demand sectors. 

Moreover, in the general draw, the BC PNP invited over 81 applicants through various immigration streams. 

Below are the streams and cut-off scores for the general draw.

2. Manitoba 

On September 27, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held two draws for immigration applicants. 

In addition, the MPNP held the first draw under the International Education stream. Moreover, the MPNP issued 79 letters of advice to apply to applicants who were invited under a ‘Strategic Recruitment Initiative.’ Also, applicants required a score of a minimum of 582 to be invited. 

Of the 348 applicants invited under both draws, 56 declared having a valid Express Entry profile and a job seeker validation code. 

3. Alberta 

As we know, this week, British Columbia & Manitoba held draws & Alberta shared updates regarding its immigration process. Moreover, these updates report how many nominations have been issued, how much of their provincial allocation needs to be filled, and the present status of processing for each stream. All this is shown in the table below. 

Note: For applicants whose work permits expire in 2024, the AAIP is evaluating these applications based on the ‘Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permit for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Applicants’ to determine whether applicants might be issued a letter in support of a work permit extension.
