Four provinces in Canada sent nominations in recent PNP draws. Applicants were chosen for their professional experience, employment, education, language abilities, etc. In addition, scores assigned by PNPs to applicants, based on these factors, vary by province and mustn’t be compared to each other.

Four provinces in Canada sent nominations in recent PNP draws. Here are the results for the same.
- British Columbia
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program held immigration draws this week through six of its provincial programs.
On June 25, five streams (Skilled Worker, Skilled Worker EEBC Option, International Graduate, International Graduate EEBC Option, and Entry Level & Semi-Skilled) held a joint draw, inviting 35 applicants. Four streams required applicants to have a minimum score of 134, while applicants in the Entry Level & Semi-Skilled stream required a score of 110 to obtain an ITA for permanent residence.
In addition, the Skilled Worker & International Graduate (including EEBC option) streams also held another draw on the same day, issuing ITAs to applicants with professional experience within professions that are in demand in the province. The stream issued a minimum of 29 ITAs.
Moreover, applicants in childcare & construction professions required a minimum score of 97 to be invited. Similarly, applicants in healthcare required a score of 106, & candidates in veterinary professions required a minimum score of 80.
- Manitoba
The Manitoba PNP held draws on June 21st & 25th, issuing letters of advice to apply to 413 applicants.
On June 21, the MPNP held a draw via the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, issuing 52 letters of advice to apply to applicants with a score of at least 721. On that day only, the MPNP invited 111 applicants through the International Education stream. Also, of the 163 applicants invited that day, 31 had declared valid Express Entry profiles.
Furthermore, on June 25, the MPNP invited over 250 applicants through the Occupation Specific Selection Pathway of Skilled Worker Overseas Stream. In order to obtain letters of advice to apply, applicants need a minimum score of 516, along with being in an occupation with one of the following NOC codes:
- 31301 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
- 31302 – Nurse practitioners
- 32101 – Licensed practical nurses
- 33102 – Nurse aides, orderlies, & patient service associates
Of the 250 applicants invited, around 93 declared a valid Express Entry profile. Moreover, the Canadian government uses the NOC system to identify and recognize professions in Canada.
- Quebec
On June 17, the province invited immigration applicants through its provincial immigration program. Also, the Minister of Immigration, Francization, & Integration invited over 1,470 applicants to apply for permanent selection.
Thus, to obtain an invitation, applicants had to:
- Have a oral proficiency in French language equivalent to a level 7 according to Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français, or its equivalent.
- Have a score equal to or greater than 585 points.
- A valid job/ employment offer outside of the territory of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.
- Alberta
On June 18, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program held an immigration draw aligned with the federal Express Entry system. The program issued notification of interest letters to 73 applicants through the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway with Alberta Job Offer stream. Also, applicants needed a minimum score of 301 to obtain a notification of interest letter.
