Weekly PNP draw results of 5 provinces held between September 16-22.
Provincial Nomination draws are the popular immigration pathway managed by most of Canada’s provinces. Each province nominates eligible candidates who can easily establish themselves in the nominating provinces and can contribute economically.
Notably, the exact terms related to the invitations issued by the provinces, as well as the qualifying score, may differ province-wise. However, for clarity, all the immigration invitations issued by the provinces will be called invitations to apply (ITAs), and the qualifying score for immigration will be called ‘score’ or ‘scores.’
Here are the PNP draw results of 5 provinces, including British Columbia (BC), Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, and Prince Edward Island (PEI). The draws occurred between 16 September and 22 September.
British Columbia (BC)
The province of British Columbia (BC) conducted two draws under its Provincial Nomination Program between 16-22 September. One was a general draw, and the other was a targeted immigration draw that manages various immigration streams.
The following are the multiple immigration streams of British Columbia:
- Skilled Worker stream;
- International Graduate stream;
- International Graduate EEBC option stream;
- Entry Level and Semi-Skilled immigration streams; and
- Skilled Worker-Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) option stream.
EEBC is a stream managed by the province under BCPNP that corresponds with the Express Entry and accepts enhanced nominations.
British Columbia, under its PNP BCPNP, issued a total of 147 invitations to apply to candidates for these streams.
Here are the minimum required scores for each stream that candidates needed to qualify for the draw:
- For the Skilled Worker and Skilled Worker EEBC option streams-108 Score.
- For International and International Graduate EEBC options streams-111 score.
- For the Entry Level and Semi-Skilled stream-89 Score
At the same time, in a targeted professions draw, BC invited a total of 78 candidates under two BCPNP streams, including the International Graduate stream and the Skilled Worker stream, as well as their EEBC alternatives. In this draw, candidates with work experience in early childhood educators/educator assistants streams or in the healthcare sector received provincial invitations.
To be eligible for this draw, candidates required a minimum score of 60.
Alberta
Canada’s province of Alberta held two immigration draws between 16 and 22 September under its provincial nomination program, Alberta PNP (AAIP).
In its first draw, the province targeted candidates under the Family Connection and Priority Occupation In-demand streams. In this draw, a total of 142 invitations to apply were issued to candidates who had a minimum score of 301.
Besides this, Alberta issued 300 invitations to apply, targeting candidates who had experience in tourism and hospitality occupations under the Priority Sector stream. Candidates needed a minimum score of 383 to qualify for this draw.
Ontario
Another province in Canada, Ontario, announced its weekly PNP draw results under the Ontario PNP (OINP).
The province held two separate immigration draws. Both were general draws but under different streams.
Ontario’s first general draw targeted candidates in the Master’s Graduate stream and invited a total of 537 candidates to apply. The eligible score for this draw was 41.
The second general draw invited candidates from the Ph.D. graduate Stream. In this draw, Ontario issued 71 invitations to apply to candidates, and the minimum required score for this draw was 40 and above.

Candidates who had work experience in supporting professions or working as sales and service representatives were considered in these draws.

Manitoba’s third draw invited candidates from the International Education Stream, in which 56 invitations were issued. Eligible candidates with skills required in the labor market and who graduated from Manitoba’s educational institution received the invitations. The province did not declare the required score for this draw.
In the fourth draw, Manitoba invited 27 candidates from the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, and candidates required a minimum score of 723 to be eligible for this draw. Under this draw, the province considered candidates previously receiving invitations under MPNP’s strategic recruitment initiative.

PEI’s first draw invited four candidates from the Business Impact Category. The eligible score for this draw was 80, which candidates needed to obtain provincial nomination.
