Four Canadian Provinces Nominated Immigration Applicants
This week, four Canadian provinces nominated immigration applicants through their respective Provincial Nominee Programs.
In addition, applicants were invited through economic streams that chose applicants based on their education, employment, professional skills, etc.
Provincial Immigration Results From July 13 to July 19, 2024
Four Canadian provinces nominated immigration applicants. Below are the results for the same.
1. Ontario
This week, the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program held four different provincial immigration draws under its economic immigration streams.
Moreover, the first draw took place under the Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream. Also, the OINP issued 265 invitations to apply to applicants who had a score of 35 or above in a general draw.
Furthermore, on the same day, the OINP held a draw under the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream. The draw took place in two parts. The PNP first issued 424 invitations to applicants who had a job offer in a selected healthcare profession and a score of 81 or more. In addition, in the second part of the draw, the OINP issued 839 invitations to applicants who had a job offer in an ‘other priority occupation’ and a minimum score of 77.
The third draw took place on July 16 under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream. Also, the OINP issued five invitations to applicants who qualified under the federal Economic Mobility Pathways project.
Finally, on July 18, the OINP held an Express Entry-aligned targeted draw, issuing 1,240 ITAs under the Express Entry: Human Capital Priorities stream. The draw targeted applicants who worked in a healthcare profession and had a minimum score between 425 and 444.
2. British Columbia
On July 16, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program held five targeted draws under the Skilled Worker, International Graduate (including EEBC option) stream. Moreover, the PNP targeted applicants who had professional experience in different in-demand professions and met minimum cut-off scores. So, in total, 68 invitations were issued to applicants.
The breakdown of the minimum scores is as follows:
- Childcare Worker’s Draw: Minimum score of 94
- Construction Worker’s Draw: Minimum score of 95
- Healthcare Worker’s Draw: Minimum score of 104
- Tech Worker’s Draw: Minimum score of 122
- Veterinary Care Worker’s Draw: Minimum score of 80
3. Manitoba
Four Canadian provinces nominated immigration applicants and Manitoba was one of them.
This week, Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program held two immigration draws under two different streams. The first draw, under the International Education Stream, took place on July 18. Moreover, the province invited over 109 applicants who met stream requirements.
Moreover, on the same day, the MPNP held a draw under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. Over 52 applicants who declared being invited under a strategic recruitment initiative and had a minimum score of 645 were issued letters of advice to apply.
Also, out of the 161 letters issued this week, 16 were issued to applicants who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
4. Prince Edward Island
On July 19, the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program issued invitations under two of its streams.
In addition, the PNP issued 84 invitations under the Labor and Express Entry stream. More specifically, individuals in the healthcare and construction sectors, those with work permits expiring before the end of the year, and applicants in the International Graduate Stream with work permits expiring before the end of 2024 got invitations.
On the same day, the province issued two invitations under its business streams.
